Ambala. Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labor Minister Anil Vij today expressed deep grief over the death of senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Surendra Tiwari, calling it a never -ending damage. Vij paid tribute to the BJP Mandal presidents on the body of Surendra Tiwari at Rambagh Shamshanghat in Ambala Cantonment this afternoon and paid tribute to him by offering sheets and flowers and garlands with BJP Mandal presidents and consoled the bereaved family. Before this The Bharatiya Janata Party flag was offered on the body of Surendra Tiwari. During the funeral, a large number of Bharatiya Janata Party leaders paid tribute to the late leader and consoled the family.
Significantly, Surendra Tiwari was a senior BJP leader who was suffering from cancer. Some time ago, after his health deteriorated, he was admitted for PGI Rohtak treatment where he died on Friday (April 11). Surendra Tiwari was one of the leading BJP leaders who had been a deputy head of the Ambala Cantonment Cantonment Board.
