Sirpur. In the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha organized in the Bolbum complex of Sirpur, the city of Gandheshwarnath, Durga Prasad Tiwari, who had Sarora from Vyasapeeth, while describing Govardhan Puja and Rasleela said that the enrichment of the senses is Govardhan Puja.
In the Bhagwat, Raslila is called Prana, where Yogamaya composed the six-month-long night and Lord Krishna performed Raslila with 16 thousand gopis in the Ras Mandal.
Indra had become arrogant, in order to crush him, Lord Krishna got Govardhan Puja done instead of Indra. Due to which Indra made heavy rain in the Braj region, but it did not have any effect in the Braj region, then Devarshi Narada told Indra that you have enmity with God and could not recognize Parabrahma. Realizing his mistake, Indra apologized to Lord Krishna and performed the abhishek.
Actually, in order to control the senses, Lord Krishna made the law of Govardhan Puja. Describing the Raslila and Maharas from Vyaspeeth, he said that on the night of Sharad Purnima, he ordered Yogmaya to do the night of six months and only the men should sleep. After the composition of Yogmaya, the gopis reached the Ras Mandal where Lord Krishna performed the Raas.
In the meantime, the foot of a gopi went on the head of Lord Krishna and the Lord became conscious. On this the gopis prayed to Lord Krishna to appear. The Lord appeared at the call of the gopis. The thought came in the minds of all the gopis that Lord Krishna should be with me, to fulfill their thoughts, as many gopis made as many forms of Krishna as they did Maharas. The entry of men was prohibited in the Ras Mandal, but while dancing, Narada reached there and became a woman.
Which Lord Krishna said to go back and watch Rasleela from space. Narada informed Bholenath about the Rasleela happening in Vrindavan, he could not stop himself and went to Rasamandal. Lord Shiva became narrow there, then Shri Krishna said that the entry of men is prohibited here to go to space and see the rasa.
What was then the three worlds and 14 Bhuvan started dancing while looking at the Maharas. It is said that Indra showered nectar on this day. Due to which even today it is a popular belief that on Sharad Purnima, it rains nectar in the form of dew, due to which people make kheer and keep it in the sky and take it as prasad.
Organizer Shesh Narayan Agrawal, Shivshankar Aggarwal told that there will be a break of Bhagwat on March 2 and after the havan, Mahaprasadi will be distributed to the devotees.
