How to make medu vada
-To make Medu Vada, first of all grate the potatoes.
-Finely chop onion and green chillies.
-Now take a pan or wok and add oil to it.
-When the oil becomes hot, add black mustard.
-Add onion and green chilli.
-After this add water and a little salt in it.
-Now add grated potatoes to this boiling water.
-Add red chilli powder lightly and cook.
-When the potatoes are boiling, add semolina to the water.
-Add some more water and cook.
-Add finely chopped coriander leaves to it, mix it and let the gas cool down.
-Let it cool down a bit for some time.
After this, apply some oil on your hands, take the semolina ball and prepare it in a round shape. Then make a hole in the middle of it like in Vada. Now put oil in the pan and when it becomes hot, add the vada and fry it and take it out. You can also half fry the vada instead of deep frying it because the semolina and potatoes are cooked which will not be harmful for you.
