New Delhi. Rains are not stopping in Delhi NCR. It seems as if there is a catastrophic rain in the national capital. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rains in Delhi and its surrounding areas, especially in Noida, Ghaziabad and Gurugram for the next 24 hours. On Thursday evening, there was heavy rain for an hour in Delhi and its surrounding areas, due to which there was waterlogging on the roads. Thousands of people had to face traffic jams while returning home from office in the evening. Vehicles were seen stuck on the Delhi Gurugram Highway from the DND flyover connecting Noida to Delhi. Let us tell you that such conditions will continue in the coming week as well. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert.
ANI has shared visuals of rain from many areas of Delhi on Thursday evening. In this, from Rashtrapati Bhavan to Dhaula Kuan, Pragati Maidan to ITO, many areas were waterlogged due to rain, due to which people had to face a lot of trouble. IMD said that the monsoon trough is formed over Delhi, due to which there is a possibility of heavy rain in eastern Rajasthan, many parts of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Odisha and Jharkhand. IMD has issued an alert of cloudburst in the mountains.
