Chandigarh On the inauguration of Vikram Samvat 2082, a special event was held at Gayatri Manas Chetna Kendra, Sarangpur on the first day of Chaitra Navratri. Jai Madhusudan Jai Sri Krishna Foundation launched an awareness campaign for environmental protection and promotion, in which Shri Narmadeshwar Mahadev Shiva Temple and Gayatri Parivar Trust, Chandigarh had special support. In the program, it was resolved to make plants trees and fruitful plants were presented to the participants.
Resolution of New Year with Prakriti: Yashpal Tiwari, the chief administrator of Gayatri Manas Chetna Kendra, said that on this occasion, information was given about the weekly yagna and the tree ambulance of the Foundation after worship in the temple. The purpose of this initiative is to save trees and take proper care of them.
Motivational Message on Environmental Protection: Founder of Foundation Prabhunath Shahi said that Acharya Shri Prakash Chand Sharma gave a detailed lecture on the sweet relationship of New Year and nature. He said that “This auspicious occasion of the New Year gives us an opportunity to take a pledge to protect the environment. Navratri gives us the message of nature balance and we should assimilate it.”
Food Prasad and Gratitude: Langar Prasad was distributed to all the devotees at the conclusion of the program. The Foundation submitted special thanks to Anil Kumar and his family, while Umashankar Sharma ji was also warmly greeted.
The resolution taken on this auspicious occasion of New Year will definitely prove to be an important step towards environmental protection in the coming time.
