This injured employee, who is undergoing treatment, said that as soon as the blast took place, everything was destroyed in a moment. Everything was destroyed in a catastrophe of just 5 seconds.

Awadhesh was a worker in the chemical factory where more than 60 people were injured in the explosion on Thursday. Recalling the chaos and panic caused by metal pieces and debris flying in all directions, Awadhesh said, ‘It took only five seconds and everything was destroyed like ‘pralay’.

Dozens of people were injured in the factory accident. Awadhesh Kumar was also injured in the blast. He is undergoing treatment in the hospital. Describing the devastation after the boiler explosion at Amudan Chemicals located in Dombivali MIDC area of Thane district of Maharashtra, Awadhesh Kumar said, ‘The sky was filled with flying metal pieces and glass. It was complete devastation.’ The factory worker said that an iron angle weighing five kilograms fell on his back due to which he suffered excessive bleeding and unbearable pain.
Everyone was looking for help
Awadhesh said that in the chaos, he sought help from people around him, but everyone was looking for safety. He said, ‘Everyone was running here and there and trying to save their lives.’ He said that the powerful explosion caused massive destruction in the factory. Awadhesh said, ‘Everything was destroyed due to the collapse of the roof and structure. Now nothing is left.’
