Dausa. Vipra Goyal, a young social entrepreneur and alumni of IIT Kharagpur, who has revolutionized in the field of water conservation in Dausa, a drought affected area of ​​Rajasthan, has been awarded Dr. BML Munjal Social Impact Award 2025. This prestigious honor was awarded by Raman Kant Munjal Foundation of Hero Group at a function held at India Habitat Center in Delhi.

The award was given to Vip Goyal, especially for the construction of more than 250 farm pounds (farm-plates) in Dausa district, which not only improved the ground water level but also gave a new support to the livelihood of the farmers. This initiative is proving to be a lifeline for the villagers in the area facing water crisis.

As a award, he was awarded a memento and an honor amount of ₹ 1 lakh. The ceremony was attended by the country’s leading corporate representatives, social workers and government officials who appreciated the works of Vipra Goyal.

Vipra Goyal, former advisor to the government and projecting projects in institutions like NITI Aayog and ISRO, is now operating a social venture called ‘Abhinay Aware Private Limited’. This company is moving on the mission to make rural India self -sufficient by working on three important columns like water, energy and employment.

It is worth noting that ‘Dislike’ was started under the guidance of Step Incubator of IIT Kharagpur, which has become a symbol of innovation and social change today.
