The intelligence department has received information that the terrorists sitting across the border have planned to carry out a major terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir on the 15th August celebrations. After the input, the soldiers deployed on the LoC are keeping an eye on every movement, every sound, so that any threat from across the border can be foiled in time. There are many launching pads of terrorists in POK

Thus every soldier here has to be extremely alert. Apart from digital surveillance and fence covering the area, the soldiers have been equipped with the latest weapons manufactured in America, Israel and Russia. Digital equipment has been installed around this post which keeps an eye on every movement across the border. The soldiers deployed on the borders believe that these equipment are proving helpful in preventing infiltration.

Tunnels are very useful during ceasefire violations
There has been a ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan for many years, but even then the Pakistani army has been violating the ceasefire to infiltrate terrorists. To avoid ceasefire violations, underground tunnels have been built for the Indian Army soldiers at all sensitive posts located near POK. These tunnels cover the entire post and on one hand the soldiers remain safe during ceasefire violations and on the other hand, surveillance can be done from these tunnels even during snowfall.

Finding terrorists hiding in the forest and targeting their hideouts is not an easy task and the soldiers undergo very rigorous training for this. Let us tell you that the forests located near the LoC have many natural caves, tall trees and huge mountains. These geographical conditions help the terrorists to ambush and attack the soldiers.
