Now the news of Kamya Mishra’s resignation has come out. She has sent her resignation to the police headquarters.

Ever since the news of Kamya Mishra’s resignation came, everyone wants to know the reason behind it. In the letter, Kamya Mishra has cited family reasons along with personal reasons. At present, the consent from the headquarters is awaited. Recently, the VIP party supremo Mukesh Sahni’s father Jeetan Sahni murder case was solved in a short time. Five accused were arrested in the murder case.

Kamya Mishra passed the UPSC exam in the first attempt in 2019 at the age of 22. While talking to NEWS18, Kamya Mishra said that ‘It is a very difficult decision but I was very interested in the department. I am very sad about the decision to leave the job. It is very difficult to leave after reaching such a big position but I also have a very big business. I am the only daughter. Also, due to being busy in my work, I am not able to give time to the family, so I have taken such a difficult decision.’
She became the first Rural SP of Darbhanga on 7 March 2024 after the post of Rural SP was created in the district.

Before becoming the Rural SP, she was working as DSP in Patna Secretariat. Kamya Mishra’s husband Awadhesh Saroj is also an IPS officer. He is also an officer of the 2021 batch. Currently, she is posted as City SP in Muzaffarpur. Kamya Mishra had secured 172nd rank in the 2019 UPSC Civil Services Examination. She was selected for the IPS cadre. She earned a name for herself during her 5-year tenure. Mishra is a resident of Odisha state. She became an IPS officer after completing her BA from Delhi University. She was talking about resigning for the last several months.
