Wheat procurement will probably start from March 25, registration is being done at 99 places
Jhabua (Representative of New Zealand). Registration was being done from February 5 at 99 places in the district for selling wheat on support price. Even after the passage of a long period, so far fewer registrations have been done as compared to last year. It is believed that the procurement of wheat will start from March 25.
The state government procures wheat every year from the farmers. Before that they are registered. This year registration was being done at maximum 99 places. Registration was being done at 80 kiosk centers and 19 government centers. The goal was clear that to facilitate the farmers and increase the registration.
this is the reason
The reason is that last year 11 thousand 415 farmers got themselves registered whereas till March 4 this year only 8 thousand 498 farmers have been ahead in getting themselves registered. The number of registrations is still less as compared to last year. Till now two thousand 917 farmers have got less registration than last year.
area has increased
The area under wheat has increased this year in the district. Last year the area was one lakh 17 thousand hectares, which has increased to one lakh 19 thousand hectares this year. The initial trend towards production is also encouraging. The production is estimated to be 3615 kg per hectare. Food Supply Officer ML Tyagi asked the farmers to get maximum number of registrations done.
Visited under Swachh Bharat Mission
Jamli. The site was selected after visiting the village for community leach pit construction work in Gram Panchayat Bani. Under the direction of Chief Executive Officer Amit Vyas, the outline of the construction work was prepared by the Block Coordinator Swachh Bharat Mission. Specially this program is being organized to maintain cleanliness in the village. Gram Panchayat Secretary, Employment Assistant and Sarpanch were apprised to start the work immediately and get it completed.
