Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah has alleged that the government wants to instill hatred among people towards us through the film The Kashmir Files. Farooq Abdullah said that the film is being made tax free in the states so that more and more people watch the film and hate us. Farooq Abdullah alleged that the government wanted to instill hatred in the minds of the people under a well-planned conspiracy. He further said that ‘the government wants every policeman and soldier to watch this film and hate us’. Just like what Hitler and Goblins did in Germany together in Germany. Six million Jewish people had to pay the price. Don’t know how many of us will have to pay the price for staying in India.
Terming the film The Kashmir Files as a propaganda film, Farooq Abdullah said that it depicted the tragedy that affected every citizen of the state. Be it Hindu or Muslim. He said that even today when I remember that incident, my heart cries with tears of blood. Without naming BJP, he said that some governments want to take political advantage of that caste conflict.
Farooq Abdullah said that a commission should also be formed to bring out the truth which can bring out the truth of the violence against Kashmiri Pandits as well as Muslims and Sikhs in the state. He further said that the MLAs and workers of our party along with me have brought down the pieces of the dead bodies of those people from the trees. Significantly, Vivek Agnihotri’s film The Kashmir Files, made on the tragedy of Kashmiri Pandits, is getting a lot of popularity not only in the country but all over the world. Many BJP ruled states have made it tax free.
