Muzaffarpur. On Tuesday night, there was a fierce fight between the family members of the patient and the hospital staff over a minor dispute at Kejriwal Hospital in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. Within no time the entire hospital complex was transformed into an arena. Seeing the commotion increasing, the patient’s family informed the police team number 112. When the police arrived, he got into a scuffle with the hospital staff.
On receiving information about the uproar, police forces of Brahmapura and Nagar police stations reached the spot and took the accused hospital worker into custody. After their colleague was detained, the hospital staff created a ruckus and stopped the OPD service. After some time the police released the hospital worker.
According to the information, a person named Sandeep, resident of Patahi of Sadar police station area, had reached Kejriwal in Juran Chapra for the treatment of his child. His child was undergoing treatment in the pediatric ward. Meanwhile, the child’s family asked the staff there for a thermometer to check the fever. The hospital staff refused to give the thermometer. After this the dispute escalated and a scuffle broke out between the two.
The entire incident has been captured in the CCTV camera installed in the hospital, in which the dominance of the hospital staff is clearly visible. The police have registered a case against the hospital staff on this matter. City SP Awadhesh Dixit said that action will be taken against the accused hospital worker on the basis of CCTV.
