Bharatpur A sudden fire broke out in the vegetable market at Sever, causing many shops to burn. The fire spread so fast that three gas cylinders burst, causing panic throughout the area. It is being told that the fire first started from tea and breakfast shops and reached the surrounding thatch. Initial investigation is feared that a short circuit or stove is feared.
Local people immediately informed the administration, after which fire engines of Bharatpur, Nadbai and Civil Defense reached the spot. Fireman Neeraj Kuntal of Bharatpur said that the team overcame the fire after about an hour of hard work. During this time four fire brigade continued on the spot, but three fire tenders were also damaged.
Traders have suffered heavy losses in this fire, as vegetables and grain shops were gutted. The fire spread rapidly due to the heat, causing chaos in the market. Local people also helped extinguish the fire.
Relief and rescue operations are still going on. The administration is investigating the cause of the fire in depth and an appeal has been made to the traders to be vigilant.
Appeal: In view of the summer season, the administration has advised all the shopkeepers to make strict security arrangements so that such incidents can be avoided in future.
