Sriganganagar. Sriganganagar, the north of Rajasthan, is in the grip of scorching heat these days. On Saturday, the mercury reached 42 degrees Celsius, which disturbed the normal life. From the city roads to the market, there was desolation in the afternoon, and people were seen coming out of the houses only when necessary. Heatwave alert, changed school time
In view of the seriousness of the heat, District Collector Dr. Manju has issued an order to change the time for children from class nursery to 8th in all government and private schools. Now the schools will operate from 7:30 am to 11:00 am.
However, the teachers and other staff of the schools will be present as time before. This system will remain in force till the end of the academic session.
Administration appeal- “Rescue is safety”
The administration has appealed to the public not to leave unnecessarily between 12 and 3 pm. Also, to avoid the heat, we have advised to adopt the necessary measures like wearing loose clothes, drinking more water and staying in the shade.
Meteorological Department Warning
The Meteorological Department has warned that the temperature may increase further in the next few days. Experts say that this situation is a sign of climate change and rising temperature in northern Rajasthan. In such a situation, people will have to take special vigilance.
