what is the matter
MSRTC employees have been on strike since November last year over their demands. Their demand is that their department should be brought under the state government and they should be given the status of state government employees. The Bombay High Court had asked the protesting employees to join duty by April 22. After the High Court order came, State Transport Minister Anil Parab had assured all the protesting employees that no action would be taken against them if they join duty before the Supreme Court’s deadline. Meanwhile, the protesting workers reached Sharad Pawar’s house in Mumbai in front of Silver Oak and started protesting.
