Kolkata. The atmosphere is heated due to the incident of rape and murder of a female doctor in RG Kar Medical College of Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal. In this case, CBI is continuously questioning the former principal of RG Kar Medical College, Sandeep Ghosh. Now Sandeep Ghosh’s troubles seem to be increasing. On the complaint of West Bengal Health Department Secretary Deval Kumar Ghosh, a case of corruption has been registered against the former principal of RG Kar Medical College, Sandeep Ghosh.

Earlier on Monday, Mamata Banerjee’s government had announced the formation of an SIT to investigate the alleged corruption and irregularities in the purchase of medicines during the tenure of the former principal of RG Kar Medical College. Sandeep Ghosh is accused of being close to TMC and that is why whenever he was transferred before RG Kar Medical College, he stopped it and remained here. The agitating doctors have made many other serious allegations against Sandeep Ghosh. Along with this, the opposition party BJP has also accused Sandeep Ghosh that many wrongdoings were happening in RG Kar Medical College, but he did not take any steps to stop it while being the principal there.

On the other hand, Kolkata Police has also summoned Sandeep Ghosh by sending him a notice. Kolkata Police has sent this notice to Sandeep Ghosh on the charge of revealing the identity of the doctor who was raped and murdered. The Supreme Court has ordered that the identity of the rape victim cannot be revealed. In such a situation, after the atmosphere got heated, Mamata Banerjee’s government and Kolkata Police are now seen taking all kinds of steps against the former principal of RG Kar Medical College, Sandeep Ghosh. After the murder of the doctor after rape, Sandeep Ghosh was removed from RG Kar Medical College by Mamata Banerjee’s government, but he was given a posting at another place. Which was cancelled by the Calcutta High Court and Sandeep Ghosh was ordered to go on a long leave.
