Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Bajrang Singh Shekhawat said that the SUV was being run by Usman Khan (62), a resident of Rana Colony, Shastri Nagar. He was drunk at the time of the incident. Near Nahargarh police station, he lost control of his SUV and the vehicle collided with anything on the road for about 500 meters. The driver first hit a scooty-bike near the Santoshi Mata temple and then crushed the people lying on the road and hit many people and vehicles coming on the way.
