New Delhi. The death toll from the massive fire in the TRP gaming zone in Rajkot is constantly increasing, so far 28 people have been confirmed dead due to burning in this fire. Let us tell you that this fire broke out on Saturday, due to negligence in the gaming zone, the fire quickly turned into a devastating incident. After this, the kind of painful videos and pictures that emerged from the spot show the horror of the incident, because the children who were playing inside the gaming zone were trapped in the flames. They kept pleading for help and eventually they died due to smoke and flames.
Investigations into the incident have revealed alarming safety violations at the gaming zone. Reports indicate that the facility did not have a fire safety NOC and adequate safety measures. Shockingly, fire extinguishers were not properly installed, with fire extinguishers found wrapped in plastic bags and kept in a corner. Had the fire extinguishers been properly placed and used properly, this disastrous incident might not have occurred.
Set up in 2021, the gaming zone had not even applied for a fire NOC. Additionally, it was discovered that the facility had stored 1500 to 2000 liters of diesel for generators and 1000 to 1500 liters of petrol for go-kart racing. The presence of these highly inflammable materials significantly contributed to the rapid spread of the fire, which soon claimed several lives.
