Kotputli-Bahrod. After the video of dance and firing went viral on the DJ waving arms, the Paniala police took quick action and arrested the accused. Research has been started by registering a case regarding the incident. The weapon used in the incident has also been recovered from the accused.
Giving information, Deputy Inspector General of Police cum-Police Superintendent Rajan Dushyant (IPS) said that strict campaign is being carried out against the criminals who laying weapons on social media as per the instructions of the police headquarters and higher officials. In the same sequence, a special team was formed under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police Kotputli Vaibhav Sharma (RPS) and under the direction of Vigyanadhikari Kotputli Rajendra Kumar Burdak (RPS).
The video of a young man waving a pistol by dancing to the DJ in the police station Paniala area went viral. During the investigation, the accused was identified as Ashok Kumar son Adisal Gurjar (age 32 years), resident Paniala. On this, the police registered a case in Section 353 (1) (B) BNS and 25 (9), 5/25 Amers Act on 20 May 2025 under case no.
Seeing the seriousness, the accused was formally arrested on Friday after questioning Kotputli jail on production warrant. During interrogation, the pistol used in the firing was also recovered from the accused.
The Superintendent of Police said that by making videos with weapons and posting on social media is a legal offense and strict action will be taken against such anti -social elements who create an atmosphere of fear among the common people.
