New Delhi. You and I must have seen and heard many kinds of love stories, but this love story of a village near Morappur in Dharmapuri, Tamil Nadu is completely different from others. A 24-year-old boy (scheduled cast) who had graduated from Bangalore in agricultural science fell in love with a 23-year-old girl (OBC) living in a neighboring village. Both of them ran away from home last Tuesday. Angry with this incident, the girl’s parents reached the house of their daughter’s lover and kidnapped his mother and took her with them. At this time, the police is facing a double challenge. They have to find this loving couple and also find the mother of the young man who has been kidnapped.
The girl’s parents believe that the boy’s mother is behind this entire incident. She helped her son to run away with their daughter and she knows where the two are hiding. The girl belongs to the Gounder (OBC) community. The boy works in Bengaluru. Both of them ran away on Tuesday night, after which the girl’s family lodged a complaint with the police.

The parents became desperate as soon as their daughter disappeared…
A police officer said, “Both the girl and the boy are educated and are free to take their own decisions. The girl’s parents were already suspicious of the boy. After their daughter went missing, they tried to contact him on phone but the number was switched off. After which they went to his house to express their disappointment and allegedly kidnapped his mother.”
The boy’s mother was not aware of the incident…
The officer said, “When she came to know that her son had eloped with the girl, the young man’s mother was shocked. She tried to call her son, but the phone was switched off. She got very little time to understand the situation. The boy’s family came to know about their son eloping with the girl from the girl’s family. They allegedly took the boy’s mother with them. However, there has been no report of any violence against her.”
