Dholpur A bicycle rally was organized in Dholpur on Sunday under the ‘Fit India Sunday on Cycle’ campaign of the Government of India. The purpose of this rally organized by the district administration and police administration was to motivate people to stay healthy and adopt cycling to save the environment.
Under the leadership of District Collector Srinidhi BT and Superintendent of Police Vikas Sangwan, the rally started from the police line and reached the RAC line via various routes of the city. Police and police friends and school students along with 6th Battalion RAC personnel also attended the rally. People were made health aware through banners and posters.
District Collector Srinidhi BT said on the occasion that “the first happiness is a healthy body.” He urged everyone to do yoga, exercise or any kind of physical activity every day. He said that cycling is not only good for personal health, but it is also favorable for the environment.
SP Vikas Sangwan said that the purpose of this rally is to promote fitness awareness according to the Prime Minister’s approach. He described cycling as a way to stay fit and reduce the problem of pollution. At the end of the program, police officers and soldiers also participated in Yoga and Zumba.
