Five High Courts get new Chief Justice, Vipul Pancholi became Chief Justice of Patna High Court

New Delhi. Five High Courts in the country have got new Chief Justice. New Chief Justice has been appointed in Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Guwahati and Patna High Courts. The central government approved the appointment of Chief Justice.

While Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva was appointed Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court, Justice Tarlok Singh Chauhan has become the Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court.

Justice Vibhu Bakhru has been made Chief Justice in the Karnataka High Court. Justice Ashutosh Kumar has been appointed Chief Justice of the Guwahati High Court. Justice Vipul Manubhai Pancholi has been made the Chief Justice of Patna High Court.

The Supreme Court Collegium headed by Chief Justice of India BR Gavai recommended the appointment of Chief Justice in five High Courts, which was approved by the Central Government.

On behalf of the governors of the five states, the Chief Justice of the High Court will be administered the oath of office and secrecy.
