Anuj Rawat scored the maximum 48 runs for the team. Apart from this, Dinesh Karthik contributed 38 runs. It is because of these two players that the RCB team was able to reach a respectable score.
Then Chennai, while chasing the target of 174 runs, had a bad start. When captain Ruturaj Gaikwad returned to the pavilion after scoring only 15 runs. After this, Rachin Ravindra, Ajinkya Rahane, Shivam Dubey and Ravindra Jadeja played important innings and helped the team win by 6 wickets. But even from Chennai Super Kings, no player could score a half-century. Rachin Ravindra scored the maximum 37 runs for the team.
This big record was broken
In the CSK vs RCB match, no player from either team scored a half-century. But both the teams scored a total of 349 runs. Which is the highest score in an IPL match without scoring a half-century. Earlier this record was in the name of the match between Gujarat Lions and Rising Pune Super Giants in the year 2017. Then in the GL vs RPS match, no player had scored a half-century and 343 runs were scored by both the teams.
