Shikha Shreya/Ranchi. Non-vegetarians like fish very much. Essential nutrients like protein and omega fatty acids are found in it, which work to strengthen the body and mind. This improves eyesight. It has many other benefits. But despite these benefits, for some people fish is like poison. They should refrain from consuming it.
Ayurvedic doctor VK Pandey (BAMC from Vinoba Bhave University and more than 25 years of experience) from Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, told Local 18 that many nutrients are found in fish, eating which is very beneficial, but some people forget it. Don’t even eat. For some people, fish is like poison.
These people should not eat fish even by mistake
Ayurvedic doctor VK Pandey said that especially some people who have the problem of leprosy or white spots and indigestion should avoid fish, because chemicals like mercury and PCB present in water also enter the stomach of fish. Mercury and PCBs cause great harm to our health, especially the skin, and may make you have to visit the hospital. In such a situation, if your skin is very sensitive then it can also react.
He further said that pregnant women should eat fish sparingly. Because its nature is hot. If a pregnant woman consumes too much fish, there is a risk of miscarriage.
Harmful by some chemicals
Dr. VK Pandey explains that today the most worrying issue is mercury, dioxin and pesticides which are dissolved in water and a poisonous substance called DDA is found in some fishes, which increases the sugar in the body. By eating these fish, fatty acids get accumulated in the liver and promote obesity. Therefore, diabetic patients should not consume it in excess. At the same time, eating fish in excess can lead to the problem of obesity, hence eat it only in limited quantity.
