A sensational case has come to light from Rudrapur in Uttarakhand, where a lover brutally murdered his girlfriend and threw the body into the canal. The accused separated the body from the girlfriend to hide the body from identity. The police have arrested the accused lover and the body was searched in his stated canal. However, the torso of the body was recovered, but the head has not been detected yet, which is on.

Accused Mushtaq is a resident of Gaurikheda village in Sitarganj in Udham Singh Nagar district. Her girlfriend Pooja was a resident of Vishwas Nanakmatta’s Bengali Colony. According to the police, Mushtaq killed Pooja on 16 November 2024 and threw her body in Nadanna Canal. He separated the head of Pooja from the torso to hide the body. Pooja’s disappearance reported by her sister Pramila Vishwas in Sector-5, police station in Gurugram, Haryana.

When the Haryana Police started investigating the case, it was found that Pooja was in contact with her lover Mushtaq. The police then arrested Mushtaq from Sitarganj. During interrogation, Mushtaq confessed to killing Pooja and told that he had strangled Pooja to death. Her torso was wrapped in a sheet and locked in a bag and thrown into the canal. Police searched and recovered the body in the canal with the help of divers.

However, even after getting the body, the police could not find the head of the deceased. According to the police, Mushtaq told the reason for her murder that Pooja came to know that she had married another girl, and Pooja had opposed this. Troubled by this, Mushtaq killed Pooja to remove her from the road. Police arrested Mushtaq and produced in court, where he has been sent to jail.

The police have continued the search for the head of the body and the case is being thoroughly investigated.
