It is noteworthy that currently more than 6.71 lakh cases are pending in the Rajasthan High Court, including 1.82 lakh criminal cases. About 77 percent of these cases are more than a year old. The appointment of new judges is expected to speed up the judicial process, which will provide relief to the general public.

However, even after these appointments, 12 sanctioned posts are still vacant, which causes more improvement in view of the increasing number of cases. People associated with the judiciary hope that appointments will be made soon to other vacant posts, which will make the judicial process easier.
