A high-profile murder incident occurred on 4 February in Parvorim area of Goa, which surprised the entire state. Narottam Singh alias Nims Dhillon, who was the cousin of former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and a big businessman from Goa, was murdered. There was a conspiracy behind the murder, which included members of the SexTorization gang, who wanted to blackmail them. But when this conspiracy failed, they killed them and planned looting.
Description of the event:
On the morning of 4 February, the Goa police received a suspicious phone call, stating that a person died under suspicious circumstances. The body was found in the villa of Narottam Singh Dhillon. The body of 77 -year -old Dhillon was lying on the bed, and there were bruises on his body, making it clear that his death was not normal. His mobile phone and jewelery were missing from the dead body, causing it that there could be a case of looting behind the murder.
Police Investigation and CCTV footage:
The police examined the CCTV cameras around the villa and found that on the night of 3 February, a young man and the woman had come to the villa of Dhillon for the party. Investigation also revealed that after the murder, both of them used the window to escape from the villa, while the main gate was closed. The couple had rented the car and were running out of Goa, which deepened the suspicion of the police.
Busted conspiracy:
During the investigation, it was found that the accused couple, Jitendra Sahu and Neetu Rahuja, had befriended Dhillon on Instagram. On the pretext of the party, he was planning to shoot pornographic photos and videos of Dhillon, but when Dhillon understood his intention, he killed him. After the murder, both of them looted Dhillon’s precious items and fled from the spot.
Third arrest:
The police arrested the pair from Navi Mumbai, but one of the accused was absconding. The Goa police later arrested a third accused from Datia in Madhya Pradesh, who helped in this heinous murder.
