A teenager who went missing from Sweden has been found and handed over to her family by the Mumbai Police. An officer of the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police had given such information. According to information received from sources, through the social media app Instagram, a 16-year-old Swedish teenager had come in contact with a 19-year-old youth living in Mumbai. After the friendship between the two, the teenager left her house and fled to Mumbai.
Unit 6 of the Crime Branch was received by the Mumbai Police from Interpol’s side about the missing girl. In this case, on November 27, the girl’s father had written a report. After this the Mumbai Police started tracking his Instagram account. On this it came to know that the girl has come to meet her friend living in Mumbai. The young man is a college student. When information was obtained from the youth about this, it came to know that the teenager was living in a pyre camp in Trombay area of the eastern suburb.
Currently, the teenager has been taken into custody by the Mumbai Crime Branch and sent to the Dongri Children’s Department of South Mumbai. During this, the Embassy of Sweden and the Delhi Interpol office were also informed about the whole matter and after completing all the formalities, the girl was handed over to her father. Although the teenager did not give any statement against the youth, due to which no legal action was taken against the youth.
