Meanwhile, the Uttarakhand Police detained the main accused Gangadhar on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, Gangadhar’s wife has claimed. In an interview, Gangadhar’s wife said, “My husband was detained on June 25 at 9:30 am. I have not been able to contact him since then.” She further said, “I have no information about my husband’s current whereabouts. He works as a laborer in Hero Company. I am not fully aware of the information related to this case.”

Gangadhar is accused of being in touch with some people from Bihar and playing a key role in carrying out the paper leak. Following the direction of the Ministry of Education, the Central Bureau of Investigation has registered an FIR in connection with the alleged irregularities in the NEET-UG medical entrance exam held on May 5. Since then, the CBI has been investigating the case. Recently, a court in Patna, Bihar has sent two other accused in the case, Baldev Kumar alias Chintu and Mukesh Kumar, to CBI custody.
A Patna court recently handed over two accused Baldev Kumar alias Chintu and Mukesh Kumar to the custody of the Central Bureau of Investigation. On the request of the CBI, the special CBI court granted the remand of the accused on Wednesday. The CBI will now conduct intensive interrogation of the accused, aimed at extracting crucial information about the paper leak scandal, the solver gang and their links with other suspects and candidates.
