New Delhi: Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has greeted Indians on the occasion of 78th Independence Day. In a post tagging Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Instagram, Meloni wrote, “I want to extend my warm wishes to the people of India and especially to all Indians who follow this page. Italy and India have a strong relationship and I am sure that together we will achieve good results. Our strategic cooperation is an important pillar for the future.”

French President Emmanuel Macron has also wished India on the occasion of Independence Day. He wrote on Twitter, ‘Heartiest greetings to all Indians on 78th Independence Day.
