You must have often heard the news of uproar in Parliament. It is very common to have uproar and ruckus in the Houses of Parliament. Whether it is the Parliament of India or of any other country. Today similar shocking pictures have emerged from the Parliament of Ghana where the debate over a bill took a fiery character. The matter increased so much that there was fierce fighting between the ruling party and the opposition. The commotion that started with a hoax reached the Jutam Pajar via boxing, then the house became the arena of some freestyle wrestling.
According to the information, the dispute started by opposition MPs during the debate on electronic payment tax in Ghana’s Parliament on Monday. Meanwhile, the opposition started a ruckus and raising slogans, the MPs reached in front of the chamber. After that the situation went from bad to worse. The MPs did not even hesitate to scuffle. Although the marshals posted in the security of the House tried to handle the situation before the ruckus escalated, but their efforts also failed. According to the report of Reuters, the video of the ruckus in the house which is now going viral, in which some people escaped to save their lives and some are seen wandering here and there.,

Let us tell you that this whole ruckus took place in the Parliament on the proposal of imposing tax on e-payment i.e. mobile payment. Under this bill, the government had proposed to levy a tax of 1.75% of the total bill on mobile money payment transactions. Due to which the opposition became so furious. Significantly, Ghana is counted among the poor countries of West Africa. In such a situation, this tax is also a big deal and the opposition had shown solidarity on this matter.
