Asansol,. Trinamool Congress MP Shatrughan Sinha from Asansol in West Bengal, after getting the President’s approval on the Waqf Amendment Bill, said that once it was passed from the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, he had no other option. They had to be approved. Apart from this, he said about the controversy and Ram Navami procession on the occasion of Ramnavami that God should give goodwill to those who intend to do wrong in the state on Ram Navami.
On the Waqf Bill, he said, “The President has stamped this bill. But, now the public will decide the matter.”
He said, “This matter is going to go to the Supreme Court. We hope that we will get justice from there.” Sinha believes that the matter is not over yet, rather it is now being raised in a completely hot manner in the Supreme Court, and hoped for any positive decision from there.
Accusing Ram Navami of spoiling the opposition of law and order, he said, “Ram Navami is for everyone, and everyone can celebrate it with happiness and reverence. But, some people are coming out in great enthusiasm and trying to do wrong things, it is a matter of concern.”
He said that it can become a sensitive case, and only those people who are eye witnesses of this incident. He criticized those who work against brotherhood, saying, “We do not appreciate them, but pray to God that they get goodwill, and Ram Navami’s festival should be celebrated with love and brotherhood.”
Sinha also said that there is a need to celebrate Ram Navami in an atmosphere of laughter and happiness, so that this festival gives the message of happiness and love for everyone. There is no need to spoil law and order in the state. The government is tightened to make law and order.
