Gold Price Today on 24th June 2024 : Gold on Monday fell by Rs 120 to Rs 73,480 per 10 gram in the national capital’s bullion market amid a fall in the prices of precious metals in the international markets. In the previous trading session, gold had closed at Rs 72,600 per 10 gram. The price of silver also fell by Rs 400 to Rs 91,900 per kg as compared to the previous closing price. In the previous trading session, it had closed at Rs 92,300 per kg.
24 carat gold rate
HDFC Securities research analyst Saumil Gandhi said, “Spot gold (24 carat) prices in Delhi markets remained at Rs 72,480 per 10 grams. This is Rs 120 weaker than the previous closing price.” In the international market, gold was trading lower at $ 2,318 an ounce., While silver was down at $ 29.47 an ounce. Gandhi said gold prices fell on Monday after the US manufacturing and service PMI data released on Friday came out stronger than expected, forcing traders to reconsider the timing of interest rate cuts by the US Federal Reserve.
Domestic futures prices rise
Gold was seen trading with gains in the domestic futures market on Monday evening. On the MCX exchange, gold for delivery on August 5, 2024 was seen trading at Rs 71,692 per 10 grams with a gain of 0.15 percent or Rs 108. At the same time, silver for delivery on July 5, 2024 was seen trading at Rs 89,221 per kg with a gain of 0.10 percent or Rs 91.
