Gold Price Today on 18th June 2024 : Gold and silver prices have seen a rise in early trade on Tuesday. In the domestic futures market, the prices of both the precious metals were seen trading in the green mark. In early trade on the MCX exchange, gold for delivery on August 5, 2024 was seen trading at Rs 71,608 per 10 grams with a gain of 0.22 per cent or Rs 158. At the same time, gold prices were also seen trading in the green mark in the global market. According to commodity market experts, gold prices are rising in anticipation of positive US retail sales data. Also, the US Fed member is scheduled to give a speech today. This may give indications about the rate cut.
Silver prices rise
Along with gold, silver prices also saw a rise on Tuesday morning. On the MCX exchange, silver for delivery on July 5, 2024 was seen trading at Rs 89,090 per kg with a gain of 0.30 percent or Rs 270. At the same time, silver for delivery on September 5, 2024 was seen trading at Rs 91,095 per kg with a gain of 0.29 percent or Rs 263.

The global price of gold has seen a rise on Tuesday morning. The global price of gold on Comex was seen trading at $2,337.50 an ounce with a gain of 0.37 percent or $8.50. At the same time, gold futures were seen trading at $2320 an ounce with a gain of 0.09 percent or $2.05.
global silver price
Global silver prices were seen trading flat on Tuesday. On Comex, silver was seen trading at $29.49 an ounce with a gain of 0.32 percent or $0.09. On the other hand, spot silver was seen trading at $29.40 an ounce with a decline of 0.22 percent or $0.06.
