Jaipur. In a major action in the capital Jaipur, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) arrested four gold smugglers and confiscated two kilograms four hundred grams of smuggled gold from their possession. The value of the seized gold is said to be Rs 1.80 crore. The DRI has arrested these smugglers from different places. One of them was arrested from Kolkata Railway Station. The mastermind of the smuggling and two receivers have been arrested from Jaipur.
According to DRI, these four were smuggling gold to India via Bangladesh. All the four smugglers caught are residents of Nagaur district of Rajasthan. Three of them were presented in court in Jaipur and one in Kolkata. All the four smugglers have been taken on remand and are being questioned. DRI has taken such big actions in Rajasthan earlier as well. A pleasant picture has emerged from Sajjangarh Biological Park in Udaipur. Pictures of two dozen baby crocodiles have emerged there. These children are enjoying the rain sitting on their mother’s back.
