Good news for NEET UG candidates, seats may increase in UP medical colleges


Medical Colleges in UP: If you have cleared the NEET UG exam and are waiting for admission in a medical college, then there is good news for you. The field of medical education has received a big gift due to the efforts of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Under this, 7 new medical colleges of the state have received the letter of permission. Also, permission has been granted to increase seats in some medical colleges.

After getting the letter of permission, studies will start from this session. On the appeal of new medical colleges, the National Medical Commission has issued the letter of permission. Permission has also been granted to increase seats in the medical colleges of Agra and Meerut. Academic sessions have also been permitted in medical colleges established on PPP model in Maharajganj, Shamli and Sambhal.

LOP has been issued for 50 MBBS seats for this academic session in the new private medical college in Gorakhpur. The private medical college in Hapur has also received permission from NMC to increase seats. Counselling will be done for 10500 MBBS seats in government, private and PPP model medical colleges in the state.
