Washington: Republican candidate for the US presidential election, Donald Trump, is furious with Google’s actions. Trump even told Google that it is going to be on the verge of closure soon. Let us tell you that Trump targeted Google on Friday over the news of banning news and pictures related to him. In an interview with ‘Fox News’, Trump said, “Google’s attitude has been very bad. They have been very irresponsible and I think Google is going to be on the verge of closure, because I don’t think Congress (US Parliament) will accept it. I really don’t think so.

Google has to be careful.” Earlier in the week, Trump had alleged that it was almost impossible to find any picture or other material on Google related to the deadly attack on him during an election rally on July 13 in Pennsylvania. However, Google had rejected the former president’s allegations. The company had said in a social media post, “In the last few days, some people on ‘X’ have claimed that the search engine is ‘censoring’ or ‘banning’ selected words. This is not happening. We want to make it clear. These posts are related to our ‘Autocomplete’ feature, which guesses the questions going on in your mind to save you time.”

Google gave this clarification

Google had clarified that ‘Autocomplete’ is not making any guess regarding the questions related to the deadly attack on former President Trump. This is because it has a system to filter out the content related to political violence and this system has become outdated. The company had said that after the horrific incident in Pennsylvania, possible questions related to it should have appeared in the ‘Search’ option, but this did not happen. Google had said, “After the problem was drawn attention, it started working towards improvement and new features are being released.” (Language)
