According to the analysis group, the code is linked to the Android platform Linux Kernel, which poses a security risk to the device. Hackers can send links or apps containing viruses by modifying the network connection in Android devices.
Google’s analysis group is still investigating this zero-day problem in depth. In the meantime, two sets of security patches have been released for users, which have been released on August 1 and August 5, 2024. This has been released as a regular update for Google Pixel users. At the same time, this update will be released for smartphones of other brands after a few days.
