The Lucknow Police has made many important revelations regarding Murtaza Abbasi, who attacked the security personnel in the Gorakhnath temple late last night. ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar also explained Mortaza’s plan. He told that Murtaza was preparing to carry out a big incident by attacking the security personnel in Gorakhnath temple by snatching their weapons from Banke. But due to the promptness of the police, he was arrested at the last moment. He told that in the investigation of UP ATS, it has been found that Murtaza Abbasi was in contact with ISIS. Mortaza also took training in operating an AK-47. Investigation has revealed that Mortaza was associated with ISIS in 2020. The ADG said that Murtaza Abbasi had also sent money to ISIS supporters in various countries of Europe and America through his bank accounts.

ADG Prashant Kumar said that Murtaza had sent about eight and a half lakh Indian rupees through terrorist organizations to support the terrorist activities of ISIS. The ADG said that Mortaza practiced with an air rifle by watching videos of AK-47, carbine and missile technology through the Internet. He said that in the investigation conducted by the UP ATS, the data of various devices, various social media accounts like Gmail, Twitter, Facebook and e-wallets have also been analyzed from Murtaza’s possession.
Murtaza had entered the Gorakhnath temple late on the night of April 3
On the late night of April 3, Murtaza Abbasi had come to attack two PAC personnel posted in Gorakhnath temple security with weapons. Murtaza had also attacked both the security personnel during this period. During this the attacker was caught by the security personnel. On getting information about the incident, the police officials reached the spot. Murtaza also suffered injuries during the attack. In which the bone of the finger of Murtaza’s hand was also broken.
Murtuja was a student of chemical engineering
In the preliminary interrogation of the police, it has been learned that Ahmed Murtuja Abbasi has studied chemical engineering from Mumbai. Her father Munir Ahmed is also an engineer. Earlier Murtuja’s entire family lived in Mumbai. In October 2020, this family came to Gorakhpur and started living in Civil Lines. It is not yet clear why Ahmed Murtuja Abbasi carried out the incident. At present, the police investigation is going on.
Murtaza slept for 19 hours in jail on the first night
Ahmed Murtaza Abbasi, accused of attacking the security personnel of Gorakhnath temple, spent his first night in jail on a sound sleep on Saturday. He was sleeping for about 19 hours out of 24 hours. When the captives picked him up, he demanded bread in the food and ate it with vegetables. On Sunday morning, after taking a bath in the jail, he offered Namaz and then went to sleep. At present, he has been kept in the midst of tight security in the high security seclusion barracks. When he woke up the next morning, Murtaza had asked for a brand specific Gelpaste toothpaste. On this, when the brush and toothpaste were given from the jail, he refused it and demanded a particular brand of gel paste. However, on being told, somehow brushed and drank tea and then ate two breads.
