Jaipur. On Sunday, State Minister of State for Home Jawahar Singh Bedham held a meeting with police officers at Rajsamand District Superintendent of Police Office, Rajsamand and thoroughly reviewed the law and order situation in the district. Kumbhalgarh MLA Surendra Singh Rathore and Rajsamand MLA Deepti Maheshwari were also present in the meeting. Also, District Collector Balmukund Asawa, SP Manish Tripathi, Additional SP Mahendra Pareek, Additional SP (Women Cell) Rajat and all the Deputy Superintendents of Police were present.
Minister of State for Home Bedham reviewed the cases of various crimes like robbery, murder, dacoity, assault, theft, drug trafficking, human photography etc. Along with this, the status of cases registered in various types of crimes against women was seen. Besides, instructions were given to be especially alert about cyber crime and to make people aware. Similarly, in the meeting, instructions were given regarding road accidents and measures to prevent them, strict monitoring and prompt action on criminal incidents. Emphasis was laid on being especially vigilant for the safety of women and children. The issue of strengthening police resources and manpower was also discussed.
Minister of State for Home Jawahar Singh Bedham said that maintaining law and order in the state is the top priority of the government. Police have been instructed to take immediate action against crimes and behave in a friendly manner with the public. Special attention will be given to ensure the safety of women and children. He said that Rajasthan government is working on the policy of zero tolerance against criminals.
Minister Bedham said that the importance of police in common life is very important, because it plays the main responsibility of maintaining law and order in the society. The function of the police is not only to prevent and investigate crimes but also to provide a sense of security to the citizens. Their presence is helpful in maintaining discipline and respect for law in the society. Police also play an important role in traffic control, disaster management, and solving social problems, thereby keeping life running smoothly.
Additionally, police also play an important role in protecting the rights and freedoms of the general public. The police take special steps to ensure the safety of women, children, and vulnerable sections. In any emergency situation, such as accidents, riots, or natural disasters, the police immediately become active and carry out relief and rescue operations. Mutual cooperation between the police and the public creates a safe and empowered society, which is essential for development and peace.
Kumbhalgarh MLA Surendra Singh Rathore said that our aim is to ensure the safety of tourists and local citizens in the district at the best level. All possible cooperation will be given to the police administration. MLA Rathore appreciated the prompt and effective actions taken by the District Police regarding crime control and security arrangements across the district.
Rajsamand MLA Deepti Maheshwari said that we all are working together for the security and development of the district. To create a crime-free society, it is necessary to increase communication between the police and the public. Maheshwari appreciated the efficiency and promptness of the district police team. He said that Rajsamand Police has won the trust of the public by crime control, security arrangements and quick action in emergency situations.
At the end of the meeting, all the police officers assured the Minister of State for Home that law and order will be maintained in the district and all the police officers will work in mutual coordination.
