Government scared of Aam Aadmi Party's increasing strength in Gujarat, sent to CBI to scare: Durgesh Pathak

New Delhi . Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Gujarat co -in -charge Durgesh Pathak on Thursday accused the central government of raiding the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) at their home, “to raid the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in Gujarat,” to intimidate party leaders and workers “. Durgesh Pathak told that a CBI team reached his house on Thursday morning and kept investigating for about three-four hours. He said, “The CBI searched my bed, cupboard and every corner, but they did not get anything. They took only 15-20 Aadhaar cards from my house, which people came to meet me.”
The AAP leader said that the CBI neither gave any reason for the raid nor was given any information. He said, “The CBI showed only one document, which was a search warrant. They did not ask me anything, just searched and left.”
Saurabh Bhardwaj, Delhi state convenor of AAP, also questioned the intention of the central government and said that the BJP is bent on ending democracy. He said, “In Gujarat, when ‘AAP’ won five MLAs and got more than 41 lakh votes, the central government has been trying to intimidate and end our party.”
Durgesh Pathak said that he is a responsible citizen and will cooperate fully with any investigating agency. He clarified, “I am trying to scare me, but I will not be afraid. Whatever information will be sought, I will give and will cooperate in the investigation.”
He alleged that this is the way of BJP – sending opposition leaders to jail, ending their resources and breaking the workers. He said, “If this plan is to end the opposition, then it is a big threat to democracy.”
