Google Chrome Government agency CERT-In has issued a new warning for crores of users of Chrome. In this warning of the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team, many problems have been found in Google’s browser, due to which there is a risk of cyber attack. By taking advantage of these errors of Chrome browser, cyber criminals can gain access to the users’ device and leak their personal information on the dark web. The government agency has warned the users about this problem and asked them to immediately update the web browser with the latest patch.
New warning from CERT-In
The government agency has issued a warning to Google Chrome web browser users, saying that due to these glitches, cyber criminals can remotely access the users’ device. Also, they can install any virus-infected software in the device, which users may have to suffer.
CERT-In has said in its warning that two types of errors have been found in the codebase of Google Chrome, one of which is Uninitialised Use and the other is Insufficient Data Validation in Dawn. Both these errors have been found specifically for desktop users of Google Chrome. Along with this, the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team has also told the users about the measures to avoid these errors.

The government agency said that you have to check the latest version of Google Chrome in your device and update it with the latest patch.
Users should launch the Chrome browser and click or tap on the three dots on the top right side.
