Chandigarh Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya paid homage to the portrait of the revered saint on Tuesday on the auspicious occasion of Lord Parshuram Jayanti. Dattatreya highlighted the eternal teachings and values of Lord Parashurama – valor, righteousness, dedication to religion and service to society. He urged the people of Haryana and the country to take inspiration from the lives and ideals of Lord Parashurama and build a strong, more inclusive and equal India. The Governor said that Lord Parashurama’s life is a form of guide light for generations. His unwavering commitment to truth, justice and upliftment of society is very relevant in today’s time.
Let us take a pledge to follow their path and contribute to national unity, social harmony and collective progress. He also emphasized the importance of protecting India’s spiritual and cultural heritage by working with communities for a rich future. Senior officials and employees of Raj Bhavan were present on the occasion.
