Jaipur. Governor Haribhau Bagde held a review meeting of district level officials at the Center for Organization Excellence in Jhalawar on Wednesday. On this occasion, he reviewed the progress of various public welfare schemes of the Central and State Government and gave clear instructions that no eligible persons should be deprived of the benefits of these schemes. The Governor directed the officials that the publicity of all the schemes should be such that the person standing at the end of the society should also benefit and the real needy classes can be strengthened. He laid special emphasis on timely and result oriented implementation of plans.
During the meeting, the Governor made a detailed review of the schemes of the Department of Water Life Mission, Swachh Bharat Mission, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ownership Scheme, Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Yojana, MNREGA, PM Surya Ghar Yojana, Chief Minister Jal Swavalamban Abhiyan, Kusum Yojana, Mission Hariyalo Rajasthan, Rajivika, Dairy Development and Cooperation Department. He specially instructed that Scheduled Castes, Tribes and Backward Classes should be benefited with priority in housing schemes and other schemes.
Emphasis on the need for overall development in education and sports
Emphasizing the effective implementation of the new education policy in the field of education, he said that the intellectual and physical ability of children should be developed simultaneously. He came to know about the current status of sports grounds in schools in the district and asked for special attention to the expansion of gymnasiums and sports facilities in hostels. He called upon MPs and MLA funds to develop the necessary infrastructure in schools and hostels. At the same time, instructed to work towards pursuing the children of talented economically weaker sections through coaching, scholarship etc.
Instructions to make Mission Hariyalo Rajasthan more effective towards environmental protection
Governor Bagde, while reviewing the ‘Mission Hariyalo Rajasthan’, directed that they should not be limited to planting saplings, but also ensure their safety and abstract. He asked to prioritize planting of low water required plants so that water conservation is also possible along with environmental balance.
The Governor inquired about TB free villages, identification of new cases, treatment process and prevention measures under the National Decay Eradication Program. He directed the Medical Department to provide quality treatment to all patients on time and public awareness programs should be made effective. While reviewing the Chief Minister’s Jal Swavalamban Yojana, he emphasized on adopting local solutions towards water harvesting and increasing ground water level. He said that all necessary measures should be taken for the accumulation of rainwater in every village in the same village and it should not flow in vain.
Rajivika’s works appreciated for the upliftment of women groups, emphasis on activating passive groups
Appreciating the women’s groups operating under the Rajivika (National Rural Livelihood Mission), she said that the marketing of the products should be increased and each woman should be motivated for entrepreneurship. Instructed to make effective efforts to reactivate passive groups and spread local products to the common man.
Adopting scientific approach in agriculture, incentive to soil testing and crop insurance
He instructed the Department of Agriculture to connect maximum farmers under the soil testing program, promote farming by scientific method, form pond construction, increase registration under crop insurance scheme and ensure technical guidance for increase in productivity and income. While reviewing solid waste disposal in urban and rural areas, he instructed to encourage organic manure manufacture and provide it to farmers, so that agriculture can be benefited along with cleanliness.
Governor Bagde finally directed all district level officials to regularly monitor for effective implementation of public welfare schemes and ensure that no qualified citizen has to be deprived of the schemes. He also said that the schemes should not be seen only in the data but on the ground.

Before the meeting, the Governor visited and appreciated the exhibition of various organic products prepared at the Center for Biological Farming Excellence of Governor Haribhau Bagde on reaching Jhalrapatan.
