New Delhi. In the 12th match of the 17th season of the Indian Premier League, Gujarat Titans won against Sunrisers Hyderabad by seven wickets at their home ground. This was the Titans’ third match of the season and they displayed excellent bowling as they restricted Sunrisers Hyderabad to 162 runs in 20 overs. Mohit Sharma particularly shone for Gujarat, taking three wickets with his exceptional bowling skills.

However, Gujarat lost their first wicket in the 5th over when Wriddhiman Saha was out after scoring 25 runs off 13 balls, which included 1 four and 2 sixes. After some time, captain Shubman Gill returned to the pavilion in the 10th over after scoring 36 runs in 28 balls with the help of 2 fours and 1 six.
After the captain’s dismissal, David Miller and Sai Sudarshan took charge and made a responsible partnership of 64 runs (on 42 balls) for the third wicket. This partnership ended in the 17th over with the dismissal of Sai Sudarshan, who scored 45 runs. After Sudarshan’s departure, David Miller along with Vijay Shankar made an unbroken partnership of 30* runs (off 18 balls) for the fourth wicket and led the team to victory. Miller remained unbeaten on 44 runs in 27 balls with the help of 4 fours and 2 sixes, while Vijay Shankar scored 14* runs in 11 balls with the help of 2 fours.
