Gwalior Administration News: Gwalior (Naiduniya News). Strict action has been taken against three patwaris who are obstructing good governance by not resolving the legitimate problems of the people. In the district level good governance camp organized in village Banwar of Chinour tehsil, Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh suspended Patwari Hira Singh Kurre of village Banwar and five annual salary increments of Patwari Atul Singh of village Amraul and Shashikant Sharma of Himmatgarh. Issue a stop order. Along with this, instructions were also given to register an FIR against the suspended Patwari in the police station. About 700 villagers from nearby villages including Banwar participated in the Good Governance Camp. Out of 214 applications received in the camp, 80 applications were resolved on the spot.
Under the guidelines of the state government, in this good governance camp organized in the presence of Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh at Banwar, many such public problems were resolved on the spot for which people were worried for a long time. Five nomination orders were issued on the spot in the camp. Similarly, names of four eligible families were added to the BPL list and social security pension was sanctioned to five needy ones. Food slips were prepared for three beneficiaries and cards of 13 beneficiaries were prepared under Building and Construction Workers Welfare Board. These beneficiaries have now become entitled to get the benefits of many schemes of the government due to the formation of the card of the Workers Welfare Board. Apart from this, other services including Ayushman card and Ladli Laxmi certificate were also provided to the villagers on the spot. In the good governance camp, the residents of village Banwar complained about the patwari asking for money for the settlement of revenue related works. Similarly, the farmers who came from Amraul and Himmatgarh villages said that the patwaris of our place are not doing fast conversions and neither B-1 is being read. Collector Mr. Singh got these complaints investigated on the spot and if the facts of the complaint were found to be true, orders for strict action against the three patwaris were issued by the sub-divisional revenue officer of Bhitarwar.
District level officers of various departments including Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh, District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Ashish Tiwari and Additional Collector HB Sharma and Sub-Divisional Magistrate Bhitarwar Ashwini Rawat, remained present in the camp throughout the day and listened to public problems one by one and made applications on the spot. Got it resolved Shantisharan Gautam, vice-president of the District Panchayat Administrative Committee, was also present in the camp. In the camp, 80 problems were resolved on the spot. After deciding the roadmap for the disposal of the remaining 134 applications, Collector Shri Singh has given instructions to the officers of the concerned departments to dispose of all the applications in a week. He assured the applicants present in the camp that by organizing a special camp, all of you would be informed about the resolution of the remaining applications.
FIR lodged against the contractor who dug the roads
In the district level good governance camp organized in Banwar, people of Banwar and Himmatgarh complained that in the name of laying the pipeline, the roads of the entire village have been dug up, due to which all of us are facing a lot of trouble. Collector Shri Singh directed the Executive Engineer PHE present in the camp to register an FIR against the concerned contractor and the Deputy Engineer at the police station. At the same time, it was clearly instructed that as soon as possible under the Jalthajeevan mission, the roads dug by laying the pipeline should be restored and brought to the original form. Otherwise strict action will be taken. He also made it clear that under the provisions of Jal Jeevan Mission, as many roads as can be laid within the time limit should be excavated. The tendency of digging unnecessary roads will never be tolerated.
