Gwalior Cheated on credit card maintenance: Gwalior. New Zealand Representative. If you are using a credit card, do not give your card information to anyone. Because online fraudsters have now started transferring money from credit cards by threatening to levy service charge on the credit card. Rambabu Singh has complained to the Cyber Cell Crime Branch that by threatening service charge, he took the information of the card to close them and withdrew 98 thousand 900 rupees from the account. Crime Branch team is investigating.
A call came on the mobile of Rambabu Singh, a resident of Janakganj. The caller introduced himself as a bank officer and asked if you use a credit card. The complainant answered yes. According to the new rules of the bank, now whether to use the credit card or not, you will have to pay 1500 rupees per month as service charge. The complainant said that if this is such a rule, then stop the services of their card. Caller said ok let’s close your card. The caller took the card information to close the card. And after some time money started withdrawing from his account in installments. By the time they could understand something, 98 thousand 900 rupees went out of the card. Cyber cell is probing the matter.
Leaving the ATM card, now the credit card holders started cheating: The thugs were earlier cheating by telling the ATM card to be closed or any other problem. But when people do not fall prey to the ATM card, now they are cheating on the credit card. In such a situation, now the credit card holders need to be cautious.
So do not pay attention to the phone: No bank or credit card making organization takes their consumer information over the phone. Either the consumer has to go to the institution or SMS is done on his registered mail or mobile. But even that information is not asked for. Only the consumer is informed.
