Gwalior Crime News: Jagendra Sen, Gwalior, New Dunia. in city Thieves had stolen a purse from the wedding ceremony held on Friday night at Kushwaha Marriage Garden. The police arrested a youth on Saturday night on the suspicion of cheating. Police is interrogating to recover the stolen purse from the accused. The stolen purse contained gold tops, mobiles and goods worth more than 50 thousand rupees. Janakganj police station had registered a case of theft against unknown thief on Friday night on the report of Rakhi Savita.
Purse was stolen like this: under janakganj police station Rakhi daughter Vijay Savita, resident of Lohagarh, had gone to join her family in the marriage ceremony held at Kushwaha Marriage Garden. The marriage was in close kinship, so the complainant had brought gold tops to gift the newlyweds. Tops and mobiles were for Rs 1650. While talking to relatives, he had kept his purse on the chair near the stage. Meanwhile, a young man stole the bag and took it away. The girl came to know about the theft of the bag around 1.30 pm. Searched the purse in the marriage garden, but the purse was not found. Rakhi Savita informed the Janakganj police station about the theft of purse in the night itself. The police have identified the youth suspected of stealing the purse. The police had started searching for the suspect in the night itself.
Interrogation after arresting the suspect: The police had caught the suspected youth in the night. The young man has confessed to stealing the purse. Police is trying to recover the stolen purse on the lead of the accused. After the purse is recovered, the police will interrogate the accused in relation to the theft in other gardens.
