Gwalior DRM Inspection News: Gwalior (Naiduniya Representative). The work of third line between Jhansi to Sithauli has been completed. New buildings are being prepared for some stations. This work is now in its final stages. Soon, permission will be taken from Commissioner Rail Safety to run trains on this line. Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Ashutosh Kumar said this during a discussion with reporters at Gwalior railway station on Wednesday. DRM said that after inspecting Sithauli station on Wednesday, instructions have been given to complete the work soon.
Regarding the introduction of general ticketing system in trains passing through Gwalior, he said that now second sitting tickets will not be reserved in trains. For the period up to which the tickets have been booked earlier, general tickets will be available from that period onwards. This situation is different in different trains. Due to this, the date of receipt of general ticket in trains will also be different, but soon this system will be smooth. Regarding the passenger facilities at the station, he said that arrangements should be better and officers should work responsibly, for this soon a system of surprise inspection would also be implemented. Apart from this, the performance report of each employee will be carefully studied and matched with the status of passenger amenities. Action will be taken to transfer and suspend negligent employees.
Bag found in Punjab Mail, returned to passenger
The bag of a female passenger traveling in Punjab Mail was left in the coach while landing at Agra station. The lady passenger immediately informed the Deputy SS Office Agra about the loss of the bag. On the information received from the control, as soon as Punjab Mail reached Gwalior, the RPF squad, which arrived in the sleeper coach of the train, found the woman’s left bag kept safe on the seat. The information about getting the bag was immediately given to the Deputy SS Agra. The youth, who reached Gwalior RPF station post on the information of being found in Bang Gwalior, told that his sister’s bag was left in the coach while landing at Agra Cantt station.
