Particularly, special monitoring will be done on those medicines, which are being operated around the school college. In fact, the Children’s Commission has given instructions to all the administrative officers of the state to curb the increasing drug addiction. Regarding which Drug Inspector Kiran Kumar has instructed all the drug dealers to install cameras at the shop.
The drug inspector says that people are taking drugs by taking prescribed drugs. This trend has increased rapidly in children. In this regard, if any shopkeeper sells medicine without a prescription, action will be taken against him. It will also be monitored that if many people under the age of 18 reach the shop to buy medicine. The school principal will also report whether any shopkeeper around them is selling these medicines without a prescription. It will also tell whether any student does drug abuse in his school and college. If someone indulges in drug abuse, his information will have to be given to the concerned officers. Wholesale and Kherij shopkeepers will have to install cameras. Under the drug-free India campaign, a joint action plan has been issued regarding a war against drugs. Under the scheme released, CCTV cameras are to be installed within six months at drug sales establishments selling drugs schedules under Section 133 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. In this regard, all the drug dealers who sell drugs of the schedules (Schedule H and Schedule X) of medicines, orders have been issued by the Collector to install cameras at such institutions. Also, within a month, along with the compliance report of the shopkeepers, submit a list of those drug selling institutions, through which cameras have been installed in the institute. Action will be taken against the institutions which do not install CCTV cameras within the time limit.
